Mahalo Nui Loa!
In Hawaiian, mahalo nui loa means "Thank you very much!".

We are very grateful to Maui Land and Pineapple Company for their generosity in developing the Hāli‘imaile Community Garden site in 2006 and allowing us continued access to care for our beautiful 2 acre garden!  This is a huge gift to the community from ML&P!

Much appreciation also goes to our fiscal agent Tri-Isle RC&D Council, Incorporated who took on the garden as a charitable project.

Mantis - for awarding a grant of a new Mantis tiller in 2012.


Seabury Hall's Friends of the Earth Club - for volunteering to plant papaya trees in our orchard in 2012.

Flatbread Company - for a benefit night and donated portion of all pizza sales on Valentine's Day 2012.

The Walmart Foundation and Facility # 3290 - for a generous 2011 grant award.

Home Depot - for $200 worth of coupons to purchase tools and supplies.

Janitze Huey - for a roll of carpet and padding donated in 2011.

Greg Wood - for a weed whacker donated in 2011.

Ted Plume - for a lawn mower donated in 2011.

Michael Kuebler - for equipment fuel donated in 2011.

Zeke Charles - for a lock, small equipment parts, and repair work in 2011.

Heather Dupee - for three papaya trees donated in 2011.

Jane Sperr - for seeds, fence posts, and garden supplies donated in 2011.

Jeff Maughn at Orbit Irrigation Products, Inc. - for irrigation piping, soaker hoses, many water timers, irrigation connectors, rain sensor, and a 4 station timer donated in 2009 and 2011.

Whispering Winds Bamboo - for the bamboo subsidy in 2009.

Patty Stemmel - for a lawn mower.
Ruben Galen - for supplying mulch, irrigation parts, and labor over the years.

Elskin Allen - for many plants donated over the years for the community herb garden.

Tova Callender - for many years of time and donations to start, coordinate, and keep the garden going.
